This article addresses the relationship between the city and education in the context of the Unitwin Network City that Educates and Transforms/RICET. It aims to discuss social symptoms based on the essential dimension of territorialization, deterritorialization, and reterritorialization of city spaces and their possible emancipatory pedagogies. To this end, it has the following guiding question: What emancipatory pedagogies of the city can arise from the spatial practices of slow men and their ways of understanding urban scars? This is a qualitative study, of a theoretical and exploratory nature, based on the literature mobilized for the proposed reflection. The theoretical framework is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach with the urban phenomenon as the object of analysis.The study aims to contribute to the deepening of the debate between the city and contemporary education, seeking to reflect on social symptoms as possible triggers of urban pedagogies based on the recognition of the different subjects in the city and their despectacularization.
