This article consists of an excerpt from a master's thesis, the objective of which was to analyze the public policy for full-time comprehensive education developed for the State of Mato Grosso and its implementation in a school unit in the city of Rondonópolis. With a qualitative approach, the research was based on phenomenology as it considered the need to detail the comprehensive education model proposed for the state of Mato Grosso. The author's personal experiences were not discarded, noting that during the research period, on-site observations and interviews were compromised due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the analysis of laws and ordinances, as well as the description of the curriculum used in full schools, in addition to the public-private partnership with the Institute of Co-responsibility for Education (ICE), make up this work.
