CASAS FAMILIARES RURAIS: UMA ALTERNATIVA PARA A FORMAÇÃO DE JOVENS AGRICULTORES

Resumo

Na atualidade, vive-se num mundo em transformações, em que a busca por novos conhecimentos é uma necessidade constante. Na agricultura não é diferente. Foi-se o tempo do agricultor(a) analfabeto e desastrado como o personagem do “jeca-tatu”, pois para se libertar dessa situação desfavorável ele tem buscado formação e conhecimento. Para isso, idealizaram uma escola capaz de atender dois objetivos: possibilitar a permanência em seu meio produtivo e, oportunizar-lhe acesso a novos conhecimentos. A partir destes dois fundamentos, lideranças do meio rural criaram a Casa Familiar Rural (CFR), definida como uma instituição educativa, criada para buscar uma educação personalizada e uma formação integral do agricultor, a partir de sua própria realidade. Esta proposta utiliza como método de ensino a Pedagogia da Alternância, em que os alunos participantes passam uma semana na CFR, em internato, adquirindo conhecimentos teóricos, e duas semanas junto à família, aplicando esses conhecimentos, na prática. Assim, eles aprendem os conteúdos de formação geral e profissional, sem abandonar suas atividades, num período de três anos.

Nowadays, in a world undergoing transformation, the search for new knowledge is a constant necessity. In Agriculture is not different. The time of an illiterate and awkward farmer like the character “jeca-tatu” is history, because to get rid of that adverse situation, farmers have looked for schooling and knowledge. To accomplish that, they idealized a school capable of taking into account two goals: to make possible their staying in their productive environment and, to provide them with access to new knowledge. From those two fundamentals, leadership from the rural area created the Rural Familiar House (RFH), defined as an educational institution, founded to pursue a personalized and integral education from the farmers’ own reality. This proposal utilizes the Alternate Pedagogy as the teaching method, where the participating student spends a week in RFH, internal regime, acquiring theoretical knowledge, and two weeks with his/her family applying that knowledge in a practical way. Therefore, the students learn the contents of general and professional education without abandoning their activities, during a period of three years.
