A CONSTRUÇÃO DA MEMÓRIA E A REPRESENTAÇÃO LITERÁRIA ATRAVÉS DAS CARTAS DO ROMANCE NAS TUAS MÃOS, DE INÊS PEDROSA

Resumo

O romance Nas tuas mãos, de Inês Pedrosa, possui uma estrutura narrativa
diferenciada, sendo composto por três partes, a saber: “O diário de Jenny”, “O álbum de Camila” e “As cartas de Natália”. Apesar dos três gêneros textuais não serem gêneros literários, eles vêm sendo utilizados largamente na literatura a partir do século XVIII. O presente artigo busca analisar a capacidade representativa das cartas no romance, bem como a construção da memória através das cartas, partindo, para tanto, de um estudo sobre o romance e o sub-gênero romance epistolar.

THE CONSTRUCTION OF MEMORY AND THE LITERARY REPRESENTATION THROUGH THE LETTERS OF THE NOVEL NAS TUAS MÃOS, BY INÊS PEDROSA

The novel Nas tuas mãos, by Inês Pedrosa, has a distinct narrative structure, compound by three parts: “O diário de Jenny”, “O álbum de Camila” and “As cartas de Natália”. Despite the three literal genres are not literary genres, they have been amply used in literature since XVIII century. The present article wishes analyzing the representative capability of letters in the novel and the construction of memory through the letters, starting from a study about the novel and the sub-genre epistle novel.
