INTERVENÇÕES FICCIONAIS LATINO-AMERICANAS: A HISTÓRIA A CONTRAPELO

Resumo

Escovar a história a contrapelo é a instrução dada por Walter Benjamin em suas teses, e disso decorre a premissa principal deste artigo: a de que esse procedimento foi apropriado e atualizado em duas obras ficcionais latinoamericanas: Respiración artificial, de Ricardo Piglia, e La literatura nazi en América, de Roberto Bolaño. A partir disso, o artigo traz a discussão sobre o contato entre fato histórico e intervenção ficcional, perguntando-se: de que forma um equívoco, posto em jogo no interior da história literária, pode mudar as feições das performances literárias? O objetivo último deste trabalho é, portanto, instaurar um contexto de indecidibilidade nas funções de autoria e de sobreposição de temporalidades.

LATIN AMERICAN FICTIONAL INTERVENTIONS: HISTORY AGAINST THE GRAIN

Brushing history against the grain is the instruction given by Walter Benjamin's thesis, and the main thesis of this article follows it: that this procedure has been appropriated and updated by two Latin American ficctional works: Ricardo Piglia´s Respiración artificial and Roberto Bolaño´s La literatura nazi en América. From that point on, the article discusses the contact between historical fact and fictional intervention, asking: how can a misunderstanding, activated inside literary history change the features of the literary performances? The ultimate goal of this work, therefore, is to establish a context of unsolvability on the field of author functions and the overlapping of temporalities.
