About the Journal

Língua & Literatura is a journal of scholarly research in the field of literature and linguistics. It is published by the Department of Lingustic, Letters and Arts at Universidade Regional Integrada do Alto Uruguai e das Missões (URI) – Frederico Westphalen Campus (RS, Brazil). Its main object is to provide a forum for the discussion of topics related to the study of language and literature. The journal is published twice a year, in August and December; the first issue centers on the investigation of literature, and the second on linguistic issues. Original submissions– essays and reviews (works published in the last 12 months)– are invited. Língua & Literatura is open to worldwide submissions in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
