PFAFFIA PANICULATA K.: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA SOBRE O ENSINO DE FITOTERAPIA NA GRADUAÇÃO EM ENFERMAGEM

Resumo

Introdução: o emprego de medicamentos fitoterápicos vem ganhando espaço no tratamento de patologias e pesquisas envolvendo plantas medicinais têm se tornado necessárias para a comprovação científica dos benefícios da fitoterapia. A normatização das práticas de terapias alternativas, pelo Conselho Federal de Enfermagem (COFEN), Resolução 197/97, amplia a atuação dos enfermeiros, validando o trabalho com fitoterápicos, desde que o profissional receba treinamento adequado. Objetivo: relatar a experiência vivenciada a partir de uma visita de estudos sobre efeitos medicinais da Pfaffia paniculata K. Metodologia: trata-se de um relato de experiência feito a partir de visita técnica em Chapecó – SC. Resultados e Discussão: Com análise em literatura cientifica observou-se que as raízes da planta são utilizadas como medicinais, tendo ação antiinflamatória, cicatrizante e imunoestimulante para o organismo. Os resultados são satisfatórios no tratamento de células tumorais e anemia falciforme. A ampla utilização da P. paniculata ainda depende do conhecimento aprofundado de suas propriedades.

PFAFFIA PANICULATA K.: REPORT EXPERIENCE ABOUT THE PHYTOTHERAPY TEACHING IN NURSING GRADUATION

ABSTRACT: Introduction: the use of herbal medicines is gaining momentum in the treatment of diseases and research involving medicinal plants has become necessary for the scientific proof of the benefits of herbal medicine. The standardization of practices alternative therapies, the Brazilian Federal Nursing Council (COFEN), Resolution 197/97, extends the work of nurses, validating herbal working, provided the practitioner receives adequate training. Objective: report their experience from a study visit about the medicinal effects of Pfaffia paniculata K. Methodology: This is an experience report done from a technical visit in Chapecó - SC. Results and Discussion: With the analysis in the scientific literature, it was showed that the roots of the plant that are used in traditional medicine, have anti-inflammatory, healing and immunostimulant for the body. The results are satisfactory in the treatment of tumor cells and sickle cell anemia. The widespread use of P. paniculata still depends on thorough knowledge of its properties.
