O PROCESSO DE ENVELHECIMENTO E A VULNERABILIDADE INDIVIDUAL, SOCIAL E PROGRAMÁTICA

Resumo

O envelhecimento da população associa-se a importantes transformações sociais e econômicas, bem como às mudanças no perfil
demográfico e epidemiológico. Tais mudanças e transformações
refletem em demandas nos serviços de saúde por essa população crescente. O objetivo desse artigo é propor uma reflexão acerca da vulnerabilidade no processo de envelhecimento, que envolvem planos: individual, social eprogramático, a partir de uma revisão bibliográfica. Estas reflexões fornecem subsídios para o planejamento, a gestão, a avaliação das políticas públicas e as ações de prevenção e controle de agravos à saúde da população idosa de forma integral e resolutiva, visto que, resultam numa resposta social.

ABSTRACT: The aging of the population is associated with important
social and economic changes, as well as with changes in the
epidemiological profile. Such changes and transformations reflect in
demands of the health of services that growing population. The objective
of that article is to propose a reflection the about of the vulnerabilities
in the aging process, that they involve the planes: individual, social
and programmatic, through a bibliographical research. These
reflections supply subsidies for the planning, the administration and
the evaluation of the public politics and prevention actions and worsen
control to the health of the aging population in an integral way and
resolute, seen that, result in a social response.
