GRUPO DE EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE COMO FERRAMENTA DE TRABALHO COM AGENTES COMUNITÁRIOS DE SAÚDE: PREVENÇÃO DA HANSENÍASE

Resumo

Relatório de Prática Assistencial realizado com Agentes Comunitários de Saúde (ACS) no município de Seberi, R/S, com objetivo de desenvolver Ações Educativas em Saúde focalizando a temática Hanseníase. Foram realizados quatro grupos no período de março a maio de 2011. Os temas discutidos foram: como abordar o usuário e seu acolhimento, Hanseníase, sinais, sintomas e motivação. Considera-se a importância do trabalho dos ACS na comunidade em busca de uma prática que priorize as necessidades dos mesmos, estar em constante aprendizado tornando-se uma estratégia na promoção e prevenção da saúde. Este trabalho permitiu visualizar, através de grupos educativos, tornado-se estratégia da enfermagem e auxiliando na formação dos profissionais. O enfermeiro, neste contexto, trabalha no sentido de ir ao encontro do que a legislação prevê no que se refere à Educação Permanente em Saúde com a equipe e a comunidade.

HEALTH EDUCATION GROUP AS A TOOL OF WORKING WITH COMMUNITY HEALTH AGENTS: PREVENTION OF LEPROSY

ABSTRACT: Report of Healthcare Practice conducted with Community Health Agents (CHA) in the municipality of Seberi, R/S, in order to develop Educational Activities Health focusing on the theme Leprosy. Four groups were conducted in the period from March to May in 2011. The topics discussed were: how to approach the users and their host, Leprosy, signs, symptoms and motivation. It is considered the important work of the CHA in the community in search of a practice that prioritizes the needs of the same, in constant learning becoming a strategy in health promotion and prevention. This work permitted viewing through educational groups, becoming the nursing strategy and assisting in the training of professionals. The nurse, in this context, works towards the legislation provides that in relation to the continuing healthcare education with staff and the community.
