PERSPECTIVAS DA INTERDISCIPLINARIDADE NA EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE BUCAL

Resumo

A falta de interdisciplinaridade na educação em Saúde Bucal dificulta a promoção e proteção da saúde, prevenção de doenças e atenção integral às pessoas. Este artigo tem como objetivos identificar e discutir entraves e possibilidades de articulação entre promoção da saúde, educação em saúde e interdisciplinaridade nas escolas, por meio de revisão da literatura. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, que teve como foco publicações relacionadas ao tema da interdisciplinaridade e saúde bucal. A partir da análise temática foram agrupados em 4 eixos: educação em saúde e os programas de saúde, mudança de paradigmas na contemporaneidade, possibilidades de interdisciplinaridade em saúde bucal, interdisciplinaridade na escola. Este estudo evidencia que os educadores reconhecem a importância do tema, mas necessitam de subsídios para uma atuação integrada e os profissionais da saúde demandam qualificação na área da educação.

PROSPECTS OF INTERDISCIPLINARITY IN ORAL HEALTH EDUCATION

ABSTRACT: The lack of interdisciplinary education in Oral Health hinders the promotion and protection of health, disease prevention and comprehensive care to people. This article aims to identify and discuss barriers and opportunities for linking health promotion, health education and interdisciplinarity in schools, through literature review. It is an integrative review, which focused publications related to the theme of interdisciplinarity and oral health. From the analysis four thematic areas were grouped into: health education and health programs, changing paradigms in contemporary, interdisciplinary possibilities of oral health, interdisciplinarity in school. This study shows that educators recognize the importance of the topic, but need subsidies for an integrated performance and health professionals require qualification in education.
